Sexual Harassment Programme Content
Episode 1
Lines, lines everywhere.
Harassment ranges from subtle grey areas to overtly violent acts. Most unwanted attention lies in the grey, where small, seemingly acceptable actions often go unchecked. Movements like #MeToo have highlighted that much of this behaviour was never okay. Recognising this benefits everyone, creating a safer environment for all.
Episode 2
Don’t touch me on my studio.
In this episode of "The Line," we explore the spectrum of sexual harassment, from everyday interactions to severe misconduct. Harassment includes unwanted physical, verbal, and non-verbal attention, ranging from touching to rape, jokes to propositions, and suggestive gestures to explicit content.
Episode 3
#NotAllMen
In Episode 3, the spotlight shifts to a crucial question: "Men, how are you feeling?" We dive deep into the emotions surrounding sexual harassment and the roles men play in both perpetuating harm and driving solutions. We explore how societal norms and behaviours have evolved, leading to a redefinition of what's acceptable and what's harmful.
Episode 4
When good people say nothing.
Within the workplace, the crossing of lines between genders often leads to instances of sexual harassment, harassment, and bullying. Addressing these issues requires two crucial components: reporting and bystander intervention.
Episode 5
Sorry seems to be the hardest word.
The episode emphasises separating behaviour from character, encouraging accountability, apology, and redemption. Normalising conversations around sexual harassment becomes key to fostering understanding, empathy, and a safer workplace environment.
