Description
The success of any YES initiative hinges on the quality of engagement between the youth and their line managers. However, this relationship is often fraught with tension: youth may lack professional maturity and "readiness," while managers, often stretched and under immense pressure, may lack the capacity for the "softness" required to mentor effectively. This mirrored masterclass series provides a dual-intervention strategy. We run two distinct but aligned sessions: one for YES Youth and one for Line Managers. By unpacking the Gen Z worldview and the specific pressures of the modern workplace, we facilitate a deep empathy-building process. The journey culminates in a facilitated virtual conversation between the Yes Youth and their Line Manager, using our AI Facilitator, Zed, to guide both parties through an alignment and expectation conversation.

Because the context is different. We need to speak to youth about readiness and to managers about capacity. The mirrored content ensures they are learning the same principles but applying them to their specific roles
-
We recommend a maximum of 25 participants to maintain the psychological safety and intimacy required for deep peer-to-peer discussion, but we can increase to 50 to stay in budget.

Zed takes the "awkwardness" out of the manager-junior dynamic. It provides a structured, neutral platform to discuss expectations, goals, and boundaries that people often shy away from.

-
To protect the psychological safety of our participants and encourage real engagement, we do not allow sessions to be recorded. This ensures that every conversation stays within the room, allowing your people to engage authentically without fear of being captured on camera.
